Terms of Use & End User License Agreement
This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you and Norelabs ("we", "us") for the use of Badminton Scoreboard & Counterand its related services (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules. This license is for your personal, non-commercial use.
What you may not do
You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, redistribute, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the limited extent the law expressly permits. You may not use the App in any unlawful way or to disrupt its operation.
Subscriptions & purchases
The App is free to download and includes an optional Pro upgrade. The following billing terms apply, in line with Apple's requirements:
- •Pro Monthly — US$1.99 per month, auto-renewing.
- •Pro Annual — US$19.99 per year, auto-renewing.
- •Pro Lifetime — US$29.99, a single one-time purchase (not a subscription and not auto-renewing).
The monthly and annual plans may include a 3-day free trial. Prices are in US dollars; the amount shown in the App for your region and store applies and may vary by country and taxes.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. An auto-renewing subscription renews for the same period at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. You can manage or cancel your subscription and turn off auto-renew in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
Purchases are handled by Apple and managed through RevenueCat. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store terms; we generally cannot issue refunds directly.
The score is a tool, not an official record
The App helps you keep score and applies the rules of badminton to the best of our ability, including the 3×21 and 3×15 systems. It is an aid, not an official referee. The players and any appointed umpire remain responsible for the official result of a match. We are not liable for disputed scores or the outcome of any game.
Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer & liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the App is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.
Apple
This Agreement is between you and Norelabs only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and may enforce it against you. In case of any failure of the App to conform to a warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App.
Governing law & changes
This Agreement is governed by the laws applicable at our place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. We may update these terms as the App evolves; the "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes.
